Street art

In August 2010 a bunch of artists descended on the high street in Sittingborne and created many wonderful works of art for the residents and shoppers to admire. I painted a river down the middle of the street which represented the almost forgotten river Bourne that flows underneath the town and is the original reason for the towns existence. The festival was a great success and in just two afternoons with the help of the passing public the river ran from Roman Square to the old cinema at the bottom of the High Street.

Herne Bay Pier Trust gallery.

We spent a couple of weeks in the summer at The Herne Bay pier trust gallery exhibiting some of our canvas work. Whilst we were there we decided to do some animorphic chalk art.

The picture is drawn or painted in such a way so that from the view point you can see the picture literally jump out at you.
